About Us

SM Group has grown from a small convenience store which opened in Port Louis shortly after the country’s Independence into a multi-faceted business enterprise. We kicked off our diversification strategy at the turn of the millennium with the launch in the capital in 2001 of the first of our four mobile, gaming and multimedia stores.

Our Group has been engaging in the retail and sale of personal mobility products like electric scooters, bikes and hoverboards since 2017. We have also been involved since 2020 in the importation and distribution of professional hair, skin, nail care and beauty products and accessories. From 2023, we further embraced digitalisation through an online shopping platform to deliver a complete, integrated experience for Mauritian customers.
